There is no reliable published net worth figure for Nick Mohammed. The clearest money trail is his company, Riddikulus Ltd. Its accounts record £1,724,129 of dividends paid on the shares he holds across the five years to March 2026, and the company still had net assets of £963,908 at the end of that period. Neither figure is his net worth, but together they say more than the guesswork on most "net worth" pages.
On 2 November 2026 The Independent reported on a new teaser in which Claudia Winkleman shows him how to do her roundtable walk. He will host The Traitors – Acts of Betrayal at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, with previews from 11 May 2027 and opening night on 8 June 2027. Below is what the filings show and what they leave out.

From Mr Swallow to Ted Lasso
According to his Wikipedia biography, Mohammed studied geophysics at Durham, dropped out of a Cambridge PhD in seismology to do comedy and joined the Footlights. From 16 to 30 he also worked as a close-up magician at hotels and weddings. His best-known character, Mr Swallow, is a megalomaniac magician developed during his Footlights days, and has carried radio series, a Channel 4 pilot and several stage shows.
He created, wrote and starred in Sky's Intelligence alongside David Schwimmer. Outside the UK he is best known as Nate Shelley in Apple TV's Ted Lasso from 2020 to 2023, which earned him two Emmy nominations. Since then he has been on Taskmaster, in Slow Horses and the film Deep Cover, toured the Mr Swallow show Show Pony, and reached the final of the first Celebrity Traitors as a Faithful before losing to Alan Carr. We have found no credible report of what he was paid for Ted Lasso.
What the Riddikulus Ltd accounts show
Riddikulus Ltd was set up on 18 March 2020 with a Leeds registered office and performing arts listed as its business. Its sole director and majority shareholder is registered as Nicholas George Mohammed, born October 1980, which matches the actor's full name and birth year. Companies House lists him as holding more than 50% but less than 75% of the shares. The accounts don't say who owns the rest.
| Year to 31 March | Net assets | Dividends on the director's shares | Director's remuneration |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2022 | £345,166 | £239,000 | £8,840 |
| 2023 | £1,268,189 | £486,129 | £0 |
| 2024 | £1,171,418 | £460,000 | £2,388 |
| 2025 | £843,338 | £305,000 | £12,679 |
| 2026 | £963,908 | £234,000 | £12,679 |
The filing history also shows the following:
- Cash: £1,033,995 in the bank at 31 March 2026, up from £655,568 a year earlier. The peak was £1,504,965 in March 2023.
- Tax owed: corporation tax of £163,906 was due at the latest year end, against £32,506 a year before. In March 2023 the figure was £402,789.
- Goodwill: an original cost of £430,000. Under the accounts' policy, goodwill is the amount paid for an unincorporated business above the fair value of its net assets. It is being written off at £43,000 a year and stood at £172,000 by March 2026. In April 2020 the company's share capital rose to £430,300. That is consistent with an existing business moving into the company, but the filings don't spell out the deal.
- Staff: one employee, including the director, in the latest year.
The filed accounts don't include a profit and loss account, so turnover and profit are not disclosed. A rough floor can be worked out instead: the change in the profit and loss reserve over the year, plus the dividends recorded on his shares. On that basis, post-tax profit in the year to March 2023 was at least about £1.41m, and in the year to March 2026 at least about £355,000. That assumes nothing else moved through reserves, which the short-form accounts don't confirm.
The pattern is a high-earning year to March 2023, followed by a company paying out more than it was adding until 2025, then building cash again in the latest year.
Why £964k is not his net worth
Three gaps stop the company figures being read as his personal wealth:
- The dividends left the company. The £1.72m paid out is dividend income on his shares, which may carry a personal tax bill. What he did with the money after that isn't public.
- He doesn't own all of it. He holds between 50% and 75% of the shares, and the rest are unaccounted for in the filings. The company's net assets can't simply be converted into a personal figure.
- Everything else is invisible. His home, pensions and savings don't appear in these filings. Neither does any income paid outside this company.
Online "net worth" pages for him don't agree with one another, and none says how its figure was reached. We'd treat all of them as guesses.
What the Traitors stage show could change
The West End job means eight shows a week, according to Winkleman's mock swearing-in. Written by John Finnemore and directed by Robert Hastie, the production is a cycle of five plays that each run a full game. On Saturdays the audience decides who wears the cloak, as reported when he was announced in September. We have found no report of his fee. If it is paid through Riddikulus, any advance received before 31 March 2027 could appear in that year's accounts, due by 31 December 2027. Pay for the performances themselves would mostly fall into the following year.
