No verified personal net worth for Noel Gallagher is publicly available. The most-quoted figure, £375 million from the 2026 Sunday Times Rich List, covers him and Liam together, and Noel said on air that he did not believe it. Here is what that estimate means, what the 2025 tour is thought to have paid, and what his record companies' filed accounts show ahead of Oasis Live '27.

The £375m figure, and why it is a joint one
The brothers appear in the Sunday Times Rich List published in May 2026, after the reunion tour. The list put them at a combined £375 million, 11th among Britain's richest music figures, behind Glastonbury's Eavis family (£400m) and Ed Sheeran (£410m), NME reported. Paul McCartney topped the musicians at £1.055bn.
The paper did not split the £375m between the two brothers, so there is no Rich List number for Noel alone. Separate figures for Noel alone are third-party estimates, not verified accounts. Celebrity Net Worth, for example, puts Noel at around $150m (roughly £112m at about $1.34 to the pound), but it does not show its workings.
Noel was not convinced either. Asked about it on BBC 5 Live on the day the list came out, he said:
"I was lying in bed this morning thinking, I better call my accountant because I know for a fact that I haven't got that much money."
That quote comes from Contactmusic's write-up of the interview. It is a reminder that Rich List figures are estimates built from public information, not bank statements.
Where the money comes from
Songwriting
He was the sole credited writer on Oasis's first three albums, Definitely Maybe, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? and Be Here Now. That means songwriting royalties on "Wonderwall", "Don't Look Back in Anger", "Live Forever" and "Champagne Supernova", which still earn every time they are streamed, broadcast or played live. The publishing terms are private, so there is no public valuation of the catalogue.
The Live '25 reunion tour
Oasis played 41 dates between July and November 2025. Reported grosses range from more than £297m, a Pollstar figure cited by The Independent, to a final total of $525.3m (almost £398m) listed in the tour's public record. A gross is ticket revenue before promoters, crew, production and tax take their share, so it is not what the band banked.
The Times estimated that each brother took home over £50m from tickets and merchandise, according to The Independent. The individual deal terms have not been made public.
High Flying Birds and his own label
Between Oasis splitting in 2009 and the reunion, Noel released four studio albums with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and toured them around the world. Those records come out on Sour Mash Records, the label he incorporated in November 2000, and that company files accounts.
What his companies' accounts show
Companies House lists Noel as the person with significant control of Sour Mash Records Ltd (company 04112932), holding 75% or more of the shares. Its unaudited accounts for 2025, filed on 30 September 2026, show:
- Net assets: £4,121,020, up from £3,268,448 a year earlier
- Cash at bank: £4,375,800, up from £3,645,061
- Stock: £270,953
The company filed abridged accounts without a profit and loss statement, so the filing does not show turnover or profit.
The Oasis-era label, Big Brother Recordings Ltd (03897337), is a different picture. Noel and Liam are each listed as holding between 25% and 50% of it. Its last published accounts, for the year to December 2024, show £7.26m cash but £9.99m owed to creditors due within a year, leaving net assets of £216,462. The 2025 accounts, the reunion year, are due by 31 December 2026.
Neither company tells you Noel's personal wealth. Money paid out to him as salary or dividends leaves the balance sheet, and the touring income may sit in other entities entirely. Treat these as dated book values for two of his businesses, not a measure of his personal fortune.
The big outgoings
Noel and Sara MacDonald announced their divorce in January 2023 after 11 years of marriage. The Guardian's Alexis Petridis wrote that the divorce had cost Noel £20 million, a figure that has not been confirmed by either side.
He has also been a property buyer for three decades. In 1999 he bought a house in Ibiza from Mike Oldfield for a reported £2.5m and sold it in 2008. In the Britpop years he lived at "Supernova Heights" in Belsize Park, north London.
Oasis Live '27: the next payday
On 14 September 2026, Oasis announced a 2027 world tour, starting at Glasgow's Celtic Park on 21 May. After extra dates were added, Music Week reported 42 shows, including 11 nights at Manchester's Etihad Stadium and six at Knebworth. The promoters said no more would be added.
Standard UK tickets are fixed at £71.50 to £266.60 including fees, and there is no general sale, Music Business Worldwide reported. The Mirror has suggested the brothers could each make another £50m or so. That is a projection, not a figure from the band. Noel has also said there will be no new Oasis music, so the expected income is touring and back-catalogue royalties.
How his fortune has moved
| Year | Estimate | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| 2001 | ~£25m (Noel alone) | Press estimates at the time |
| 2009 | £52m (with Liam) | Sunday Times Rich List, year Oasis split |
| 2026 | £375m (with Liam) | Sunday Times Rich List, after Live '25 |
The jump from £52m to £375m came over a period that included the High Flying Birds years and the reunion tour, though the Rich List does not publish a breakdown. Noel's own share is not published either, and he has publicly doubted the joint total.
